An East Texas woman posing as a sophomore high school student enrolled at New Life Christian School in Longview was arrested by Longview Police after she provided officers with false information. According to a report by KLTV 7 News, 31 year old Charity Johnson had been enrolled as a sophomore at New Life Chrisitian School where officials there say she was enrolled as Charity Stevens by a person claiming to be her guardian and had been a student at the school since October 2013.

Johnson had been taken in by a family after telling them she was 15 and needed a place to stay. The family felt the need to take her in, enroll her in school and give her clothes and food. After becoming suspicious, the family called Longview Police, who went to the school immediately to confront Johnson and was eventually arrested for providing false information to police and remains in the Gregg County Jail on a $500 bond.
