“The Blind Side” will be on the big screen on November 6th. $5 Films at the Pines will occur mostly on the first Friday of every month so mark yur calendars accordingly. A couple of movies won’t be able to follow this scheduling, but you can check the original post here for any changes.
I wanted to use this as an opportunity to give my own little review of each movie before it is shown so you know whether to take your family, friends, or coworkers.
Whether you’ve seen “The Blind Side” before or not, you are in for a treat. This is one movie you can bring the whole family to enjoy. ‘The Blind Side’ was a huge box-office success which originally made over $300 million, and Sandra Bullock went on to win the Academy Award for best actress along with many other awards.
The movie itself was based off a book of nearly the same name, and is a fantastic piece of cinema that tells the story of family bonds, no matter how seemingly nontraditional they may be.
