The Jasper Lions Club Rodeo is called the 'Grand-daddy' of all rodeos in East Texas, and when you've been producing great rodeos since 1947, no one is going to argue that point.  The 68th version of the Jasper Rodeo gets kicked off this Wednesday and continues through Saturday.

In addition to top notch rodeo action, the rodeo also features four nights of great concerts.  Through the years artists such as Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Hank Jr., Marty Robbins, Ray Price, Blake Shelton, and Luke Bryan have been featured at the Lions Club Rodeo Arena.  This year, a couple of area bands will take the stage for the first two nights.  On Wednesday, Taylor & the Boys will be performing and on Thursday it's the Peg Winders.  Then Friday, Brett Eldredge will be on stage and Craig Campbell wraps up things on Saturday night.
