7 Day Weather Outlook – Wet and Cold
We're a week away from Thanksgiving, and the good news is that the extended forecast is calling for a sunny, cool turkey day. However, we will have a cold push of air between now and then, plus the chance of up to 3 inches of rain falling in the region over the week.
The 7-day outlook from the National Weather Service shows a great chance of rain and/or thunderstorms over the next 24-36 hours with the best chance coming throughout the day on Friday. Temperatures will reach near 70 early on Friday, but by mid-morning temperatures should start dropping through the mid-50s.

Friday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 67 by 8am, then falling to around 54 during the remainder of the day. North wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 51. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
