A Pure and True Example of Love

There are many definitions of love, and we could all cite many examples of love in our lives.  I believe that we can all agree that one of the defining traits of pure and true love is that of being unconditional. 

With that being said, imagine yourself in this scenario:  You have been dating someone for nearly a year.  You really have fallen for this person and you know the feeling is mutual.  There has even been talk of forever.

Then...catastrophe.  A car wreck injures your loved one and he/she is now mentally handicapped...severely so.  What would you do?  There is no engagement, no ring, nothing official...but there is love.
