Aaron Watson, Cody Johnson Play to Packed House

What a great night for Texas Music.

Cody Johnson opened the night at Banita Creek Hall Thursday, and as always, the Groveton native showed why he is considered one of the best vocalists and entertainers. 

And then the pure, non-apologetic country sound of Aaron Watson kept the dance floor full.  Indeed, it was a packed house as you can see from this crowd shot that I took just before introducing Aaron Watson on stage.

Tonight, Stoney Larue will be performing at Banita Creek Hall.  Opening the show will be Nacogdoches native Terri Jo Box.  Restless Heart was scheduled to play this Saturday, but due to a family emergency that concert has been rescheduled for October 19th.
