Adam Wakefield was the Season 10 runner-up on The Voice, where he won over the hearts of many viewers with his soulful performances. Now, the singer-songwriter is giving the world a taste of his own musical talents with the "When You're Sober" video.

Filmed at popular Nashville establishment Skull's Rainbow Room, the singer shows off his sultry side seated at a piano. In what appears to be closing time at Skull's, Wakefield is found on piano singing the heartfelt song of missing an ex. Meanwhile, singer Jenny Leigh sits beside him and assists on harmonies.

“I love songs where the writer doesn’t reveal the whole story until the last line of the chorus,” he tells the Boot. “We perform this tune with the full band in my set, but it’s hard to really focus on the lyrics ... but when we had the opportunity to do a stripped-down piano/vocal video at Skull's, I knew this was the perfect song for that reason. Plus, I love the harmonies Jenny worked out for this, especially in the bridge. Nobody blends with me like she does, and I think it really comes through in this video.”

On The Voice Wakefield wowed the coaches with a cover of Vince Gill's classic, “When I Call Your Name.” He and Blake Shelton also teamed up for a duet on “The Conversation,” originally cut by Hank Williams, Jr. and Waylon Jennings. It was on his own original, “Lonesome, Broken and Blue,” that saw a fan in Christina Aguilera though.

“Your runs are so impressive to me, they are so accurate and insane,” Christina Aguilera told Wakefield. “I love what you do up there. You are so talented.”
