Desserts, cheesecakes, rabbits, and broilers...just some of the competitions that took place on day one of the Angelina County Youth Fair.  In fact, the list of all the winners is located later in this blog, however, we do want to say a special thanks for the young men and women who joined us on the Merrell in the Morning show today.  They are (first row) Kagen Gentry and Devin Lout, (second row) Emma Cherry, Yesenia Rojo, Jackson Snelson, Chandler Merrell, Kayla Martin, and Ryan Merrell.

And they were kind enough to bring some of their desserts, they were very pretty as well but we kind of ate some before we took the picture.  The desserts from left to right are red velvet crepes, strawberry pie cake, 12-layer mocha cake, peach black and blueberry cobbler, and chocolate cobbler.
