Every year, the George H Henderson, Jr. Expo Center in Lufkin is responsible for bringing in some of the areas biggest events - Bull Bash, Angelina Benefit Rodeo, Forest Festival, concerts, and much more.  These events contribute greatly to the big tourism dollars that come into this market.  Tonight (5/8), the Expo Center will celebrate it's 30th anniversary party.  This event is attended by around 800 folks and it features a great steak dinner, (all you can eat boiled crawfish if you arrive early enough), plus plenty of ice-cold beverages, and numerous silent and live auction items.  There are several specialty raffles which include guns and a designer purse.

Proceeds will help with the yearly operational costs of the Expo Center.

The event starts at 6:30 with dinner to be served at 7:30 and the live auction to begin at 7:45.  Tickets are still available through the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.
