In the days leading up to the first day of school, many East Texas campuses were busy as teachers and employees were putting things in order for the arrival of students.

Last year, KICKS 105 started a new tradition by allowing area teachers to record a greeting for their students that we featured throughout the school year on the Merrell in the Morning Show.  It was fun recording these greetings, but this year I wanted the process to be more personal, so, I traveled to area schools to record these greetings.

So far I've made it to Lufkin ISD, Nacogdoches ISD, Central Heights Elementary, Woden ISD, and Hudson ISD.  But, I'm hoping to travel to many other campuses.  If your school would like to have teachers featured on our KICKS 105 greetings, I'd be more than happy to stop by your campus at your convenience.  I'll bring my recorder plus a one-sheet that has a typed greeting on it, however, you are more than welcome to ad lib your own greeting.

You can listen to the Merrell in the Morning Show between 6:45 - 7:45 to hear how these teacher's greetings are structured.  If you'd like for me to stop by your campus to record some greetings just e-mail me at dannymerrell@townsquaremedia.com
