The Arenacross Tour will kick off the season for the first time in Lufkin. The Arenacross Tour has expanded into east Texas and many improvements have been made to the series to create some of the best arenacross racing in the country.

New faces are expected in the AX Pro and AX Pro Lites class with the increase in the payout for the pro purse. Spectators can expect to see nationally ranked riders such as Cole Thompson, Heath Harrison and Maxx Malatia. Amateur riders can also sign up to receive contingency for all OEM brands through Hookit.com. Specialty awards will be awarded to both pro and amateur riders participating in the event.

The Arenacross Tour will be holding an official press day on Friday. Select pro class riders will visit KICKS 105 to do in studio interviews with the Merrell in the Morning Show. From 2:00-‐4:00pm the riders will be on location at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Expo center to do interviews with local media outlets. They will also suit up and ride sections of the track. This press day is open to the public so that other interested parties may check out the track prior to the event on Saturday. The pro riders will also be visiting the Lufkin County Boys and Girls Club as part of the AX Tours community outreach campaign.

On Saturday, November 2nd, amateur racing will take place throughout the day. All riders must register at the Expo Center on the day of the event, or online prior to arriving. All amateur riders must attend a mandatory riders meeting at 9:10 am, followed by practices sessions and a full day of racing. Select classes will also race in the night show. At 6:00pm doors will open to spectators and at 7:00pm opening ceremonies will begin followed by a full night of exciting, bar-‐to-‐bar racing in a family friendly atmosphere.
