Arrest Made in Angelina County Night Club Shooting

According to a release from the Angelina County Sheriff's Department, Kevin Edward Jefferson, 45, of Corrigan was taken into custody April 19th on three felony warrants that were issued for his arrest subsequent to an incident that occurred at Annie Mae’s Night Club near Lufkin on April 15th.

Two people were wounded by gunfire during that shooting.  Jefferson has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of felon in possession of a firearm.  The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the Texas Highway Patrol for their assistance in this investigation.
