Blake Shelton Snags Michael Buble for His ‘The Voice’ Team
With fall fast approaching, the third season of ‘The Voice‘ is upon us, and with it comes a new set of advisors to our favorite four coaches. Assisting Blake Shelton this season is not a fellow country star, but soulful pop crooner Michael Buble, known for his butter-smooth, Rat Pack style. This is a big prediction, but with Blake and Buble working in tandem, we’re thinking back-to-back season win
Chris Young Tour Bus Almost Catches Fire
One club that singer Chris Young doesn’t want membership in is the ‘Bus on Fire’ club. In recent months, the likes of Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice have witnessed their tour vehicles fall victim to fiery blazes. Young was almost among their ranks last Friday (June 30), when his vehicle caught fire in Charlotte, N.C.
Willie Nelson Planning to Get Home in the Netherlands Due to New Pot Policy
Willie Nelson ought to change his first name to “Wily.” That’s because the pro-pot singer is smartly planning to either rent or purchase a home in the Netherlands in the next year so he can continue to buy marijuana legally. Local Dutch officials are planning to outlaw “drug tourism” next year, meaning that non-resident pot proponents can’t travel there to stock up. Nelson wants to skirt that prob
Trace Adkins Welcomes Grandson
Congrats to our favorite country music roughneck Trace Adkins. The singer’s family recently expanded, as he welcomed his new grandson Jackson Trace Webber, who was born on June 6. What a great Father’s Day present for Adkins – he gets to enjoy a brand new grandson, who is his (middle) namesake.
Brad Paisley and Hank Williams Jr. ‘Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams’ at 2012 CMT Awards
The 2012 CMT Awards, which took place tonight (June 6), were too big for the auditorium, metaphorically speaking. Therefore, the live duet of ‘I’m Gonna Get Drunk and Play Hank Williams,’ performed by Hank Williams Jr. with an assist from Brad Paisley, was too much to be contained by a venue with a roof, so the superstars performed it outside. What a treat for fans!
Lady Antebellum Open 2012 CMT Music Awards With Hot Chelle Rae Mashup
Lady Antebellum both owned and opened the night at the 2012 CMT Music Awards by performing ‘We Owned the Night.’ After a verse and a chorus, the trio was quickly joined by those pop phenoms in Hot Chelle Rae. But the boys didn’t jump in on Lady A’s song, nor did Lady A cover the band’s smash ‘Tonight, Tonight.’ They did something entirely new, different and customized.
Pistol Annies Perform ‘Takin’ Pills’ at 2012 CMT Music Awards
With their short dresses and big hair, Miranda Lambert and her Pistol Annies took the stage at the 2012 CMT Music Awards tonight (June 6) to perform the sassy, honky tonk-style jam ‘Takin’ Pills.’
Luke Bryan Gets ‘Drunk on You’ at the 2012 CMT Music Awards
Bottoms up! Luke Bryan hit the stage at the 2012 CMT Music Awards tonight (June 6) to perform his most recent single ‘Drunk on You.’ He was the second performer of the night, and yes, he owned it.
Miranda Lambert Admits She Carries a Weapon for Protection
Miranda Lambert is one bada– broad (we mean that lovingly) that you do not want to cross. Why? Because much like the protagonist of her smash ‘Gunpowder and Lead,’ she carries a weapon. It may not be a shotgun, as the lyrics proclaim, but make no mistake — Lambert is armed. The reason she guns up? She was the recipient of a death threat and needs to protect herself, which she does by taking matter

Dierks Bentley, Willie Nelson, the Civil Wars and Rosanne Cash are all set to perform at the second annual Johnny Cash Music Festival. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 5 in the Man in Black’s home state of Arkansas.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s Kids Will Be ‘Golden’ Thanks to Love of Animals
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, country’s first couple who celebrated their first wedding anniversary last Monday (May 14), are big animal lovers. They incorporated their pets into their wedding ceremony and according to Shelton in a recent chat and photo spread in In Touch, they’ve rescued “at least 20 dogs, as well as cats and horses.” The irony that the duo lives in a converted hunting lodg
Justin Moore Crew Bus Involved in Accident
Life on the road has its ups and its downs, but lately, country stars have been dealing with accidents or acts of God involving their touring vehicles. A few days after singer Bucky Covington dealt with a crash, Justin Moore‘s crew had an incident with their bus.
