Danny Merrell
Ever heard of Lockhart, Texas? That's where I'm from and I'm proud to be a Lockhart Lion, but East Texas is my HOME and has been for over 20 years and I hope to call it home for many years to come. I've been married since 1994 to Glenda Tharp Merrell and I have two daughters (Chandler and Cullen) and a son - Chase. I went to college at UT-Austin AND Texas A&M which probably explains a lot about me. I love to golf, coach my kids in various sports, but I'm probably best at being a carnivore - I love steak, BBQ, ribs, etc...I love all kinds of music, but, of course, country music is my passion. I also am the public address announcer of SFA football and basketball - Axe 'em, Jacks!! I try to live my life as to try and make God proud...I know I don't always succeed, but I try. "Never underestimate the power of prayer"!!!
