Sean Ericson

Sean Ericson...ugly, slow and old.  Some may say that, but my kids still think I’m pretty cool. (kinda)  I have been at Kicks 105 for over 20 years...hence the “old” part.  A real appreciation for Texas Country, Country, heck all types of music, keep the job a blast.  You will usually find me with no pants on (I really prefer shorts) and wearing flip flops somewhere near the water with Jimmy Buffett providing the soundtrack.  Married to an awesome woman, I have two talented and beautiful daughters and one horribly disfigured step son. (Think Aeropostale model)  I am truly blessed.  A quote that sums up my take on life comes via Mark Twain/Jimmy Buffett...“Wrinkles only go where smiles have been.”  That pretty much says it all. See you on the lake, and thanks for listening!

Phonograph Day - 1878 - Thomas Alva Edison, famed inventor, patented a music player at his laboratory in Menlo Park, NJ. (This music device is the one we know as the phonograph.) Here’s the real skinny on the story: Edison paid his assistant $18 to make the device from a sketch Edison had drawn. Originally, Edison had set out to invent a telegraph repeater, but came up with the phonograph or, as he called it, the speaking machine.

Inane Answering Message Day – Here are a few ideas:

 *Heaven, God speaking...

*Hi there. This is Joe speaking. I'm home right now, and in a moment, I'll have a decision to make. Leave your name and number and I'll be thinking about it...

*I can't come to the phone now because I have amnesia and I feel stupid talking to people I don't remember. I'd appreciate it if you could help me out by leaving my name and telling me something about myself. Thanks.
