Bags of Love Hosting Fundraiser Saturday in Apple Springs

Bags of Love is hosting a fundraising event this Saturday (July 29th) at Steel Horse Saloon on Highway 94 near Apple Springs.  

The event starts at noon and will feature live entertainment from Bryan Harkness, Joe Cuellar, Jordan Phillips, and more.  There will be BBQ plates for sale, silent auction, and a washer tournament that starts at 5 p.m.  All proceeds will benefit Bags of Love.

Many times, when children are placed in foster care, they end up putting their necessities and most prized belongings in a large trash bag for transport.  No child, especially those going through such a traumatic time, should have to use trash bags, so Hallie Ferguson established this program to raise funds to buy nice bags that children could use instead of trash bags.
