Ben Haggard, Merle’s Youngest Son, to Perform at Banita Creek Hall

Let me go ahead and state the obvious - There will never be another Merle Haggard.  He was and is Country Music.

Ben Haggard is the youngest son of The Hag, and when I heard that Banita Creek Hall had booked him to play on Saturday, August 18th, I thought I would do some research so that I could share my thoughts with you.  After viewing three videos from Ben Haggard, I texted two words to the general manager of Banita Creek Hall - "Holy Cow!"

He agreed with my thoughts, and now I know why he booked Ben Haggard to play at the club.  I've never seen him live in concert, but I really hope he is everything he appears to be.  You can definitely hear Merle's tone in his singing, but I'm just taken by how effortlessly smooth Ben is in his own delivery.  His acoustic version above of Silver Wings is absolutely mesmerizing.
