Billy Ray Cyrus reflects on his life and career in the "Thin Line" music video, for the title track of his latest album, Thin Line.

Cyrus penned the very personal track himself, and the video is proof of that. His emotions run deep and are on the line throughout every scene.

The haunting "Thin Line" video depicts Cyrus walking through his home, pondering over old newspaper clips that span his entire career. These relics from his past are contrasted with scenes that show a fight with his significant other, as well as adoring as his daughter runs through the halls.

There's an obvious contrast between the two scenes which correlates with the song's message.

“It’s a thin line between Elvis and Jesus / What we love and what pleases,” the country icon sings. Cyrus is shown peering at one of his most prized possessions: a handwritten letter from Johnny Cash.

Thin Line is an experimental project that remembers country legends and pays homage to them. The album features duets with some of music's most prized gems, including Bryan Adams, Shooter Jennings, Joe Perry Lee Roy Parnell and his own daughter, Miley Cyrus.

“There’s a thin line between art and life,” Cyrus says of the project. “It’s always that moment between what’s reality and what’s artistic and somewhere in between.”

Thin Line is available for purchase now. You can also catch Cyrus on his CMT series, Still The King, which was recently renewed for a second season.
