DVR alert! Brantley Gilbert and Chris Young are ready for their close-ups. That is, their small screen close-ups.

Gilbert and Young are two of the hottest young male stars in country music, and they will both make cameos on one of the hottest hit dramas of the 2012-2013 TV season. The guys will guest on 'Nashville,' playing themselves on the episode of the Hayden Panettiere-starring ABC drama that airs Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10PM ET.

"I actually really like the show," Young said at a media event recently, according to the Boot. "You always get nervous anytime somebody wants to do a show in your hometown, but I don't think that would change even if it wasn't a music town. Obviously being the home of country music, all of the people that are musicians are nervous ... I think if they did a show called 'Philadelphia,' anybody who lived in Philadelphia would be going, 'Oh my God, I hope they don't screw this up.' Being from Murfreesboro, basically the Nashville area, I love how they portray what the city looks like. I think they use some really great shots."

Gilbert and Young will attend a party celebrating the success a new song, 'Wrong Song,' by Rayna James and Juliette Barnes, played by Connie Britton and Panettiere, respectively.

The episode is the 11th of the series and is titled 'You Win Again.'

Gilbert just released the video for 'More Than Miles,' while Young closed out 2012 on vocal rest. He plans to start work on a new album this year. A high-profile TV cameo is certainly a killer way for both gents to kick off 2013.
