When shoppers visit the official website of clothing line William Rast, the first image they see is that of Brett Young. The country star has been selected as the clothing brand's newest ambassador, modeling the Fall 2018 line.

William Rast was co-founded by Justin Timberlake and friend Trace Ayala in 2006 and features a variety of Americana and American biker style products. Timberlake himself has often modeled the clothes, but due to his hectic schedule, the company began looking for new talent to represent the brand.

That's where Young comes in, who reveals that when he walked in to meet with William Rast executives in New York, he had no idea he'd become their next brand ambassador. "I was going in thinking we were going to maybe discuss a project of my own," Young explains to Taste of Country and other media. "They were looking for somebody to come in as the face of William Rast. It just happened to be perfect timing."

The "In Case You Didn't Know" singer has yet to meet Timberlake, but has already participated in an official photoshoot as part of a new ad campaign for the line, donning jeans as well as denim and leather jackets in a collection of smoldering shots with model Stella Maxwell. "I have no experience in the fashion world. I didn't know what I was doing," he admits.

Though a new venture for the baseball player-turned-country star, Young is embracing the opportunity to take on a new challenge that will expand his skillset. "It's been an awesome partnership," he says. "It's been fun to get outside the box and outside of my comfort zone and do something different."

Young is set to release his sophomore album, Ticket to L.A., on Dec. 7. It follows his platinum-certified debut that includes his latest No. 1 hit, "Mercy." He'll head out as the headlining act on the 2018 CMT on Tour with openers Tyler Rich and Rachel Wammack, kicking off Nov. 16 in Michigan. He's also nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards.
