Those blasted bed bugs are history.

Last Friday, a Veteran came to the VA Clinic in Lufkin seeking help for a rash.  Clinic staff found bed bugs on his clothing and wheelchair prompting the shut down of the facility.  However, after thorough extermination, fumigation, and disinfecting by an infection control practitioner, the Charles Wilson VA Outpatient Clinic was able to resume normal operating hours as of yesterday.

Brian T. Spore, acting medical director of the clinic, encourages all Veterans to keep their health care appointments.  Anyone with questions or concerns may call 936-671-4300.
