Bruce Willis saves the world in the next movie in our $5 Film series. We're showing the epic science fiction masterpiece, "The Fifth Element".

We've been showing great movies at the historic Pines theater in downtown Lufkin all year round, with all proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

With tickets only being five bucks, it's crazy to pass up these opportunities for a fun and cheap evening out at the movies.

"The Fifth Element" has a score of 7.7 out of 10 on IMDb, and an audience score of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, but is in my top 5 favorite films of all time.

This movie blends action, drama, and comedy with stunning visuals in a futuristic setting that can only fully be appreciated on the big screen.

So mark your calendars for Friday evening on  August 5th to enjoy 'The Fifth Element' at the Pine theater in downtown Lufkin.

Also, Pokemon trainers will be given a clean, cool environment to charge their phones and battle it out with access to a Pokemon Gym from the theater. Movie goers will also be between 4 PokeStops with Lure Modules used throughout the screening of the film as extra incentive to swing by, and to come and go as they please.
