KICKS 105 Country Clash

Brantley Gilbert has released his first song since scoring a number one with 'Country Must Be Country Wide', and that new release defeated the new song from Taylor Swift in yesterday's Country Clash. Now, Gilbert will take on the latest from Ronnie Dunn.

Over the past several weeks, we've been using the KICKS 105 Country Clash to let you tell us what the top song of 2011 should be.  And, in case you missed the announcement yesterday, congratulations are in order for 'If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away' by Justin Moore. Now, it's time to get back to taking two of Nashville's newest and clashing them head to head.

So, let's set the stage...if Blake wins today's Country Clash, he'll be in the finals to determine the top song of the year. Today, Shelton is taking on 'Remind Me' by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.

It's looking more and more like 'God Gave Me You' by Blake Shelton will be in the finals for the Country Clash championship round to determine East Texas' number one song of the year. Shelton needs to win 3 more times to get into the finals.  Today's challenger will be Jake Owen with 'Barefoot Blue Jean Night'.

It seems that no one is able to dethrone 'God Gave Me You' by Blake Shelton as the current champion of the special year-end KICKS 105 Country Clash. Well, maybe today's challenger stands a chance. Today's Clash features Blake Shelton vs......Blake Shelton.

'God Gave Me You' by Blake Shelton took 67% of the vote in yesterday's battle with 'Dirt Road Anthem' by Jason Aldean. Shelton will try to defend his title today by taking on 'Tomorrow' by Chris Young. Listen to both songs after the jump.

In the battle of the newlyweds, Blake Shelton is the winner over Miranda Lambert. 'God Gave Me You' took nearly 70% of the vote against the incoming champion song 'Heart Like Mine'. Now, Shelton will take on 'Knee Deep' by the Zac Brown Band with Jimmy Buffett in our quest to find out East Texas' top song of 2011.

'Heart Like Mine' by Miranda Lambert has now won for the fourth straight time on our year-end KICKS 105 Daily Duel...one more win and that song will be guaranteed a spot in the finals late next week. However, Lambert will now go up against one of the biggest songs from the last 3 months, not to mention, it's her husband, Blake Shelton singing it.

'Heart Like Mine' by Miranda Lambert wins again, this time taking a rather lopsided victory against The Band Perry's 'You Lie'. Next up for the Female Vocalist of the Year will be Kenny Chesney's 'Somewhere With You'.
