When I was 4 years old I could recite the alphabet and...well, that was about it.  But this kid was a real talent for memorizing lines, or maybe he's just spending too much time in front of the tube.

It's National 4-H Week and this morning on the Merrell in the Morning Show we featured a couple of students who shed some light on what 4-H week is all about as well as the many events and projects that 4-H youth are involved with throughout the year.

Kids are sure getting more and more adept at using technology.

Alyza Hernandez convinced her mom, Gizel, that they needed to go to the Great Kid Escape this past Saturday.  One of the main reasons that the 5 year old wanted to go was to see Peyton List, the actress who plays Emma in the Disney series 'Jessie'.

This Saturday, the first ever Great Kid Escape will be held at the beautifully remodeled Lufkin Convention Center on South First Street.  Headlining the event will be an appearance by Disney TV star Peyton List who plays the part of Emma on the show, 'Jessie'.

Sometimes, the simplest toys are the best ones.

10 years old....close your eyes while you're listening to this video and keep on telling yourself that this girl is only 10.  Her name is Anna Christine and this was her performance on season 8 of America's Got Talent.

One day, this kid should be President of the United States. This junior high band is doing a good job of playing our National Anthem, when all of sudden, equipment failure on the only set of cymbals.  What would you or your kid do?  Hopefully, the same thing this kid does on our Merrell in the Morning video of the day.

Kindergarten graduation - a time for smiles, proud parents and grandparents, numerous photo ops, and....how about a fight nothing short of a riot?
