Sgt. Ricky Wheeler of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office in Sherman, Texas confirms to ABC News Radio that state troopers responded to a call at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday night reporting a man lying on the road outside of the town of Tioga.  They discovered Travis at the scene with a "strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and several signs of intoxication" and arrested him for DUI.

A caller informed Lufkin Police that around 9 o'clock Wednesday evening a man driving a vehicle at the intersection of Woodmont and Hopkins struck and damaged a stop sign.

The man fled from the scene in his car,  but he was quite easy for LPD to track down.

A Lufkin man, Robert Sheddan,  has been arrested and charged family assault and resisting arrest.  In the scuffle that occurred while resisting the arrest, a police officer was slightly injured.
