When I first heard the story of a Great White Shark named Katharine making a beeline to the Texas coastline I thought it was a prank. But, there's no joke here. In fact, there are two Great Whites that could end up off the Texas shores.
Every month I make a trip to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Many of you may know that my mom has Stage 4 breast cancer and for several years we've made our monthly treks there for treatments and testing. On our last trip there something that only I could do happened and I thought I would share to hopefully brighten your day.
I usually avoid most of these online surveys that try to identify what type of person you are and then spit out which celebrity or number or character you are most like. But, I've always loved the Muppets and I couldn't resist.
There are certain days of the year which call attention to those that serve or have served our country...Veteran's Day and Armed Forces Day to name a couple. That's a good thing, but we should show the same outward respect and gratefulness the other 363 days of the year as well. It's nice to see that a Midwestern Harley-Davidson dealership feels the same way.
