With so many comedy hits of the past getting supposed follow ups ('Ghostbusters 3,' the 'Twins' sequel 'Triplets') it's no surprise that 'Mrs. Doubtfire 2' is being prepped, with both star Robin Williams and director Chris Columbus set to return for more cross-dressing hijinks.

Following some sneak peeks at 'How to Train Your Dragon 2,' DreamWorks has unleashed the first full trailer for the upcoming sequel, which finds Viking Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) -- a little older, a little scrappier -- and his loyal dragon Toothless going on a dangerous new adventure to protect men and dragons alike from a new threat. Mickey Rooney, the legendary actor who appeared in over 340 movies and television shows, has passed away. He was 93.

In what had become an inevitability at this point with the insanely rising box office numbers, Disney's smash hit animated film 'Frozen' has now become the highest grossing animated film of all time, usurping former crown holder 'Toy Story 3,' which held the title since 2010. So apparently 'Shrek Forever After,' dubbed 'The Final Chapter,' wasn't actually the "final chapter." As DreamWorks recently announced plans to launch a 'Shrek' theme park in London with Merlin Entertainment, DreamWorks Animation CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg revealed that 'Shrek 5' will probably happen. In fact, he's pretty confident in that fact.

Last week, I finally got the chance to see the newest Disney release, 'Frozen', and I loved it.  There was a captivating plot, interesting characters, wonderful music, and it was just nice to see someplace else that was colder than East Texas.

Warner Bros. has apparently looked at its DVD shelf and randomly selected '60s TV series 'Gilligan's Island' as the next property to get the big-screen modernization. The studio has chosen to polish off the property and give it a go with 'Jobs' and 'Book of Mormon' star Josh Gad, who will co-write and star in the film adaptation. It is with heavy hearts that we bring you this tragic news at the end of the holiday weekend -- 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker has passed away at the age of 40. Walker, who was working on 'Fast and Furious 7' with Vin Diesel and director James Wan, was killed in a car explosion in California on Saturday afternoon.
