Chalk this one up as one of those times that social media came to the rescue.  According to a report, a woman in south Texas took a video of a man dragging a dog behind his motorized scooter as the man traveled down a neighborhood sidewalk.

What do you get when you cross at Yorkshire Terrier with a Shih Tzu?  The answer is a 'Shorkie', or as we reference in the video, a Yorkishoo.

Meet Max, he's a chihuahua/terrier mix and our Winnie Berry Humane Society Pet of the Week.  Max is lovable, outgoing, and would love to be your fur-baby.  He also love's drag racing (reference the video).

Sometimes cats become residents in Mom and Pop stores, vet clinics, and apparently libraries.  But one Texas town has evicted the resident cat from the library, and now it's got some people petitioning and calling voters to weigh in.  It's not Nacogdoches or Diboll, although we know you guys love your cats.  The cat controversy is happening a little further north and west.

The dog park at Grace Dunn Richardson Park has been open for awhile now, and it makes Lufkin more dog friendly than it used to be. It's right off of South Redditt Drive, and it's a good place to exercise the pups.  But does it make Lufkin one of the best dog cities in the US?
