Texas Governor Rick Perry insists that he's one for healthy debate, open dialogue, and a supporter of free speech rights, however, he believes that an editorial cartoon has crossed way over the line of good taste and actually mocks the tragedy in West, Texas.

Update 10:00 p.m. (CT)

Four people were injured today - three of them were from gunfire, one woman from medical issues (supposedly suffered a heart attack).
Both suspects are being detained and questioned about the altercation, no arrests have been made yet. Names have not been released.
The campus is scheduled to re-open Wednesday.

As TV and 'Dallas' fans alike well know, production of the second season of TNT's revival series experienced a tragic loss when long-time series star Larry Hagman lost his battle with cancer. As Hagman had already shot a number of episodes as his oil magnate character J.R. Ewing, TNT decided to move forward with the series by paying respect to Hagman's passing with a funeral for his character, one that was said to draw out a number of past 'Dallas' stars not yet introduced on the series. So who's going to be back?

Authorities at Bush Intercontinental Airport have confirmed that a woman was discovered deceased aboard an early morning inbound flight to Houston. Looks like the life span of a 52 foot man is 60 years.

Big Tex, the towering figure that for the past 60 years welcomed folks to the Texas State Fair in Dallas was destroyed by fire earlier this morning.
