Motorists traveling through the Nacogdoches South Loop and Highway 59 interchange ark asked to slow down and observe warning signs as changes are made with the traffic flow in that area, specifically for northbound motorists exiting US 59 onto Loop 224 westbound.

TxDOT Announces Speed Limit Changes in Nacogdoches County

Motorists that travel Highway 59 north of Nacogdoches to the north of Garrison can expect changes.  The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is preparing to post new lower speed limit signs this week on a portion of US 59 in Nacogdoches County.

FM 2021 Overpass at Highway 59 Now Partially Open

The new FM 2021 bridge over Highway 59 is now open, at least partially.  According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the west side to cross over to FM 2021 is still closed for some finishing concrete touches, although the overpass is open to cross over from FM 2021 East or make the turn-around for US 59. The west side should be open by the end of the week making it possible for motorists to cross over completely on FM 2021.

White Water Rafting in Texas? Thank the Floods.

If you've ever done one of those all-day floats on the Guadalupe River in Central Texas, you know it can be pretty serene.  People float down the river for hours, usually with one raft to hold the people, and another raft to hold the beer.
