Today marks the 70th anniversary of the 'day that will live in infamy'. 2403 brave men and women lost their lives on December 7th, 1941.  To many, unfortunately, it's just a number. I was able to find a video which scrolls the names of all who were killed...it certainly gives you a better personal appreciation of the loss of life. In a White House briefing held Friday, President Obama announced the remaining American troops in Iraq will be home by the end of the year, closing a war effort there that has killed more than 4,400 US servicepeople and wounded 32,000 more since 2003. “After nine years, America’s war in Iraq will be over,” the president said.

Shelley College, a secondary school in Britain, thought its female students were painting themselves a little too heavily and spending too much time primping in the bathrooms, so officials banned anyone 16 and younger from wearing cosmetics.
