Chris Young took the stage at the 2011 CMA Awards performing his No. 1 single from earlier this year, ‘Voices.’ The sexy singer was all smiles as he stood surrounded by the ones who have put him at the top of the charts four times now — his loving and loyal fans — at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

While ‘You’ is the singer’s current single at radio now, he decided to give the viewing audience a special treat  by singing the fan favorite song, which he co-wrote with Craig Wiseman and Chris Tompkins.

Young, who has been appearing more frequently without a hat, looked handsome in a brown long sleeved shirt and blue jeans, with his eyes twinkling and dimples peaking out from underneath his five o’clock shadow.

Young looked calm throughout his performance, though he should have been a nervous wreck as he was one of the five contenders in this year’s New Artist of the Year category — up against Luke Bryan, Eric Church, the Band Perry and Thompson Square.
