December 15, 2011 12:35 PM ‘God Gave Me You’ by Blake Shelton is our current champion in our year end search for the top song of the year. Yesterday, Blake took 72% of the vote over ”Knee Deep’ by the Zac Brown Band with Jimmy Buffett.
Earlier this year, Jason Aldean took a bit of a risk by releasing a song written by Brantley Gilbert that included some rapping verses. The song went to number one and was one of Aldean’s biggest hits of the year.
