Zac Brown Band's Coy Bowles is officially a father after welcoming a baby girl into the world very early Friday morning (Oct. 21).

Hattie Bowles was born at 12:21AM, arriving promptly on her due date, according to Bowles' Instagram. The band made the exciting announcement of baby's arrival on their official social pages, asking fans to help them congratulate Bowles and his wife, Kylie.

"Mother and baby are happy and healthy. Life is good. And the journey begins," Bowles shares.

A photo shared with fans shows the couple in the hospital, admiring their newborn. Hattie is asleep soundly in her mother's arms, wrapped in a hospital blanket.

This is the first child for the couple, who wed back in 2013 with a grownup Icee bar and a slip 'n slide on hand, according to the photographer's website. They said "I do" in Georgia in a unique ceremony that was equal parts bohemian and country after getting engaged following a Zac Brown Band show at Madison Square Garden. Bowles took the microphone during the night and publicly asked Kylie to be his forever.

Bowles will soon have his own children's book to read to his baby girl. The musician has written When You're Feeling Sick, a funny picture book designed to help kids feel better about not feeling so well. The book comes out Jan. 10, but is available now for pre-order on Amazon.
