Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th, and this Saturday, Cracker Barrel in Lufkin is going to plant 2000 American Flags on area graves.

In honor of Veterans Day, Cracker Barrel, in partnership with local veterans, have organized a volunteer American flags planting on the graves of Lufkin veterans. Beginning at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, volunteers will plant flags together before dividing up to visit one additional cemetery. They hope to plant 2,000 flags across five area cemeteries to honor our veterans. No registration is required. Rain or shine (ponchos provided if needed).

As a thank you for supporting our military, volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and a complimentary meal card for two people at Cracker Barrel while supplies last. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive early as the free items are limited to the first 100 people.
