According to Disney Parks’ executive Bob Chapek they are “the most ambitious lands that we have ever built at Walt Disney Imagineering.” They’re Star Wars Land, coming to both Disneyland and Walt Disney World in the near future. And this weekend at the D23 convention, Disney gave fans a look at the massive model for their creation.

In addition to the model, the Star Wars Land exhibit at the con features concept art, costumes, props, and massive mock-ups of some of the features coming to the property. The main attraction, though, was the model of the entire grounds. Above, you’ll see an extensive video of the whole thing.

Per Inside the Magic, Star Wars Land will feature two main rides, in addition to all the other various doodads and moisture farms and whatnot:

There, two signature attractions will await guests. One will let guests take control of the famed Millennium Falcon on a “customized” secret mission while the other puts guests squarely in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance on an abandoned Rebel base.

Here’s what the ride vehicle for that First Order ride will look like.

Even with the Star Tours simulator rides that have been a part of Disney’s repertoire for decades, this stuff could be lightyears beyond anything Star Wars fans have ever gotten to experience at a theme park. Construction is already underway on both versions of Star Wars Land, with an expected opening some time in 2019. That’s going to be quite a day in the galaxy far, far away.
