Detours Continue on Highway 59 Due to Overnight Truck Wreck

Early Monday morning around 3 a.m., the Texas Department of Transportation reported a major truck wreck and fire on Highway 59 in Nacogdoches County, just north of the Highway 259 interchange.  

Traffic detours for both southbound and northbound lanes in the area are expected to continue until about 9 a.m.  No other details are available as of 5:30 a.m. concerning the cause of the accident nor the condition of the driver of the truck.  Updates will be forthcoming on this post.
