Watch Dierks Bentley Cover Avicii’s ‘Hey Brother’ [VIDEO]

Dance music superstar Avicii’s song ‘Hey Brother’ is all over the place – if you ever tune in to our sister station K-Fox 95.5 you’ve definitely heard it – and now Dierks has put his own country spin on it!

Swedish DJ Avicii’s style is to take parts of folk songs, cut them up, and use them in his dance music. He’ll throw a flatpicked guitar or banjo in too, just to change things up. Usually there’s a whole bunch of other stuff too: drum machines, synthesizers, bleeps and bloops, all sorts of strange sounds – but now Dierks and his band have replaced all that with some country flair!

This video was recorded live during his London tour stop, and it’s pretty fantastic. The crowd loves it too!
