If anyone knows how to get summer going right it's Dierks Bentley, and he's wasting no time with his Somewhere on a Beach Bash Memorial Day weekend.

The artist is throwing a massive party on May 30, 2016 in Panama City Beach, Fla., at the Spinnaker Beach Bar, and as with anything Bentley orchestrates, it’s sure to be a good time.

“Memorial Day is the official kick off to summer, and this will be a great way to celebrate the current single and the new album,” Bentley says in a release. “We’ll pack as many people on the beach as we can … probably need to start icing the beer down now!"

Tickets for the event officially go on sale April 29, with fanclub members gaining access April 26. The show is part of Bentley’s Somewhere on a Beach Tour, which actually launches May 12 in Holmdel, N.J. He’s bringing Randy Houser, Cam and Tucker Beathard along for the shows — artists he said he's pumped about sharing the spotlight with.

Bentley will release his new record Black on May 27. It’s expected to be a highly personal album, reflective of some of the darker times in Bentley’s life, mixed in with lighter tunes like the tour’s title track. He says the album’s title also represents a “mysterious and sexy” side and the goings-on that simply take place after the sun goes down. Overall, he says, “it’s a relationship album."

“To do it right, I had to dig deep as a writer, dig into the Nashville songwriting community, and record songs that explore the shadows and edges of the heart,” he explains.

The album title is also fitting in this regard, as Black is Bentley’s wife Cassidy’s maiden name. In anticipation of the album release, Bentley has been releasing a series of brooding videos for some of the tracks, including one for “I’ll Be the Moon” featuring soulful breakout star Maren Morris and the follow-up, “What the Hell Did I Say.” The series is slated to include two more videos before Black drops.
