I’m a native Texan and proud of it. I was born and raised in the BBQ Capital of Texas, Lockhart, but I’ve been in East Texas for about 25 years, so this is where my family and I call home. I have a patient, beautiful wife who has kept me in line since 1994, plus 3 great kids…even though they were the cause of my premature balding and greying. I went to college at UT-Austin and Texas A&M, mainly to become a meteorologist. But my love of country music took over, plus, in radio, you never have to grow up. As

A real appreciation for Texas Country, Country, heck all types of music, keep the job a blast. You will usually find me with no pants on (I really prefer shorts) and wearing flip flops somewhere near the water with Jimmy Buffett providing the soundtrack. Married to an awesome woman, I have two talented and beautiful daughters and one horribly disfigured step son

Texas born and Texas proud! I’ve got tattoos to prove it!! I got my start in radio in 1989. Worked all over Texas including an 8 year stint in Houston. My passion is country music, and the country music lifestyle! I keep my finger pressed firmly on the pulse of the Texas/Red Dirt scene, and pass along the exciting new music, and artists that I get to experience. I have two amazing children. My son Zackary, 16 years old, and in the Marine Corp JROTC! He’s my boy! My daughter Zara is my little princess, and 7 years old
Sam Alex has always been a big fan of country music -- he's worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from the Chicago area, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BB
