It was a parachuting adventure that went horribly wrong over the weekend, that claimed the life of an East Texas man.

A technology executive that had just moved from Austin to the Zavalla area, died after his backup parachute didn't open.

36-year old Miguel Carrasco cut away from the primary parachute, according to CNN, and the secondary parachute didn't deploy.  The accident happened at Skydive Spaceland in Rosharon.

According to KTRK, Carrasco was an experienced skydiver and was on his fourth jump of the day when the parachute went down.
