Proof that it's not just what you do in the studio or onstage, the Eli Young Band recently used there spare time to make a big difference.  Before their show in Nashville on Friday, the boys gave their time with the organization Musicians On Call, playing for 30 Veterans recieving dylasis at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN.

"Today was an opportunity for us to say thanks to gentlemen who have given so much and sacrificed so much for our country and for us. It's nice that our music put a smile on their face and made their day a little bit better, especially the ones going through tough times," said Mike Eli.

Band member Jon Jones added, "There was a guy named Allan whose birthday was today. He had been a Navy SEAL for 28 years, and he couldn't have been more upbeat about his life and everything. He was really inspiring."
