Exercise Caution and Patience – It’s Back to School Time

It's that time again...back to school, and for the first time I can remember, area schools and colleges such as SFA and AC will all start on the same day. 

So, it's needless to say, but I'll say it anyway.

BE CAREFUL....BE PATIENT.

You know that there will be long lines and long waits for drop off and pick up of your kids throughout this week as everyone works on getting the routine down.  So, allow yourself plenty of time to get through the lines and don't get frustrated if the folks running the traffic at the schools don't have all the answers yet.

Oh yeah, in addition to careful, patient....be kind....set a good example for your kids.

Plus, because our teachers do so much for us (understatement of the year), we would like to do a daily shout out to our teacher of the day....so we would like to start the new school year by thanking Mrs. Karen Hay, 3rd grade math and science teacher at Brookhollow Elementary in Lufkin.  Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Hay!!!
