The remnants of Bill are raining down on East Texas...hard!  As of 9:30 this morning, 2-3 inches of rain has already fallen in areas near Lake Livingston, Apple Springs, Hudson, and Pollok, and more is on the way.

This has caused the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Warning until 1:15PM today for Angelina, Nacogdoches, and southeastern Cherokee counties.  The bands of rain from Tropical Depression Bill continue to move across those regions and we could see more heavy rain later this afternoon.

Even though we have had a bit of a respite from the rain over the past two weeks, the ground is still saturated and runoff from heavy downpours can quickly lead to flooding.  Never drive into water covering the roadway.
