If you're looking for more than just gratiude to warm up your soul this Thanksgiving, leave it to whiskey—and Florida Georgia Line—to help out with that. Mix yourself up a Old Camp Fashioned to enjoy with the turkey, and you'll be feeling toasty in no time!

Created using the country duo’s very own line of Old Camp Whiskey, this concoction packs some heat in all the right places. This recipe combines the classic cocktail with a contemporary twist, which is sure to take the edge off those dreaded political discussions at the family dinner table.

We guarantee that a few sips of this stuff will settle everyone down—and let’s be honest, even if the temperatures are warm where you are, some of us could use a bit of chilling out considering the crazy year 2018 has turned out to be! Cheers!

Old Camp Fashioned Recipe

3 parts Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey

1 part ginger liqueur

3 dashes aromatic bitters

1 tsp cinnamon-honey simple syrup*

Candied ginger (for garnish)

Directions: Combine ingredients in a mixing vessel with ice, and stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over a large, clear cube. Garnish with candied ginger.

Want to get fancy? Try making the simple syrup from scratch. All you have to do is add 6 oz of water & 6 oz of honey to a saucepan over medium heat, and stir to combine. Add two or three cinnamon sticks and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool before straining out the cinnamon sticks. Store in the fridge.

Happy Thanksgiving!
