Four Dead in Conroe Area Due to Mystery Illness

It mimics flu-like symptoms, but results in kidney failure.  The big question is: What is it?  According to a report in the Houston Chronicle, 4 persons are confirmed dead in Montgomery County as a result of this 'mystery illness'. 

8 persons have contracted this sickness and all have tested negative for influenza even though they have symptoms that are consistent with the onset of flu.  Health department officials are trying to gather as much information as they can to determine what is at the root of this illness.
