Garth Brooks World Tour Begins Friday in Houston

The wait is over for the Lone Star State.  Garth Brooks is bringing 8 shows to the Toyota Center in Houston over the next couple of Fridays and Saturdays, and there are still tickets available for some of those shows. 

The schedule for the Garth Brooks World Tour is set as follows:

• Friday, June 26th, 7PM (sold out)
• Friday, June 26th, 10:30PM
• Saturday, June 27th, 7PM (sold out)
• Saturday, June 27th, 10:30PM
• Friday, July 3rd, 7PM
• Friday, July 3rd, 10:30PM
• Saturday, July 4th, 7PM
• Saturday, July 4th, 10:30PM

It is strongly encouraged that you arrive at least two hours prior to each show.  Doors for the 7PM show will open at 5:30, however, the Toyota Center will be opening outdoor corral locations at 5PM.  Doors for the 10:30PM concerts will open around 10PM, but that could vary given the duration of the previous concert. Those going to the late night concerts should arrive no later than 9PM.  Peak traffic congestion in the downtown area is expected to occur between 9-9:30PM.

There is no opening act, so Garth will start the show, plus he'll perform some songs with his wife, Trisha Yearwood. Those wanting any details about the concerts, including ticket sales, can contact the Toyota Center.
