Today (November 3rd) is National Sandwich Day, and Subway is making the most of this opportunity by making it 'World Sandwich Day' and inviting customers to their 'Live Feed' to help fight hunger.

Here's how it will work today.

Purchase any sandwich and 30 oz. drink and get a FREE sandwich of equal or less value, PLUS Subway will donate a meal to Feeding America. This organization is the nation's largest hunger-relief organization.  Meals secured by Feeding America are distributed to local member food banks.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1 in 8 people struggle with hunger in the U.S. That means 41 million people across the country don't have enough to eat.  Subway's donation to Feeding America will benefit millions of Americans facing hunger and seeking help from Feeding America's network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs.

Subway will track the number of donations to Feeding America on World Sandwich Day via the 'Live Feed'.

Be sure and look for the KICKS 105 Road Show Friday from 11-1 at the Subway located at 1607 West Frank in Lufkin.
