Glen Templeton Kicks 105 Country Clash Song Spotlight
April 25, 2011 12:59 PM Sugarland continues as our champion on the KICKS 105 Country Clash, most recently defeating Vince Gill’s new song with about 53% of the vote.
Sugarland now takes on newcomer Glen Templeton, who has a very interesting tie-in to Conway Twitty. Back in 2008, when Conway Twitty’s daughters were looking for someone to portray the young Conway in a traveling musical tribute, Templeton, out of 20,000 auditioners, got the job.
Since that time, Templeton has been honing his skills as a performer, singer, and musician.
Although he played the part of a young Conway, there are certainly sounds of Billy Currington and Dierks Bentley in his style. His song is titled ‘I Could Be The One’.
