Monday morning, 2-6 inches of rain fell across parts of Deep East Texas, and with the ground already saturated, it didn't take long for flooding to take place across the area.

In fact, things got so bad in parts of Trinity county that there were a few voluntary evacuations from flood prone areas.  Overflow water even made some major roads such as Highway 69 and 94 impassable in some stretches.

The creek that runs through Chambers Park in Lufkin overflowed its banks.  We were able to capture some of that on video.
